Introducing Baby #2

As most of you know by now I am expecting baby #2 June 1, 2009!! I am almost 16 weeks pregnant and very happy a rough first trimester is over!! This ultrasound was done at 12 weeks. Josh tells us he is going to have a sister! We will find out in January.

Happy Halloween

Josh loved Halloween this year! He dressed up as a bat and went trick or treating! He was amazed that every house had candy. He started out in his wagon but then discovered it was a lot more fun to walk. We stayed out until he got too tired to walk anymore!! That's when he asked John to carry him and put his head down on his shoulder! He never did put his pumpkin pal down though!!

Corn on the Cob

It's time for sweet corn and we discovered that Josh has a new favorite! He ate almost three ears of corn with dinner last night! Here are pictures from each ear of corn.

Big Boy Bed

We are transitioning Josh to a big boy bed. He has been trying to climb out of crib and I was just waiting to hear a thud come from his room one day when he managed to climb out. His crib converts to a toddler bed and then a full size bed. John converted it to a toddler bed this morning and Josh took his afternoon nap as usual in his big boy bed!! He loves it. He has called us into his room several times today to show us his "new" bed.

Summer Trip to Florida

We went down to Florida so Josh could spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Bob-O. We also spent a lot of time with Uncle Colin, Aunt Jaime, his cousins Abby and Avery, and Great Grandma too. We had a great time! We were really busy while we were there that we could have used another vacation day to recover when we got home. We went to Pump It Up, an awesome inflatable gym, the zoo, and Busch Gardens. We also played an awesome game of hide and seek and Abby helped teach Josh how to play! Here are some pictures from the trip!

Columbus Zoo

We took Josh to the Columbus Zoo today. It was the first time Josh really reacted to everything he saw. He could not wait to see the monkeys. He had been talking about seeing monkeys at the zoo all week. I'm not sure if the monkeys or the sting rays were his favorite.

Pool Pictures

We got Josh a pool and this weekend was the perfect time to use it. With summer weather setting in we spent several hours in the pool this weekend. Josh loves it!

Making Cookies with Mommy

The non stop rain has kept us inside this weekend so we made cookies. And of course played with cars (Josh's all time favorite)!

Here are a few updated pictures of Josh. Now that the weather has started to warm up he is constantly asking to play outside. We are outside as much as possible but when he is getting ready for bed he still loves 15 minutes of cartoons!

Spaghetti Dinner

We have been blessed with a very good eater from the very beginning but as usual Joshua prefers some foods over others. Josh has picked spaghetti as one of his favorite foods. It is always a messy meal but he loves it so much!

Blizzard of 2008

For those of you who did not have to live through it or did not hear about it on the news, the Columbus area was hit with over 20 inches of snow and blizzard conditions this weekend. By Sunday the sun came out and we got a chance to bundle up and play in the snow with Josh and Barkley. Here are several pictures we took.
